How to Setup User Permission

There are two builtin roles that can be assigned to a WordPress user account. They are:

  1. AppointFox Staff
  2. AppointFox Administrator

Here are a brief summary of each roles:

AppointFox Staff

As a staff, user can manage following modules:

  • Manage appointments
    User can manage customer’s appointments
  • Manage customers
    User can manage customer”s records

AppointFox Administrator

As an administrator, user can manage all modules:

  • Manage appointments
    User can manage customer’s appointments
  • Manage customers
    User can manage customer”s records
  • Manage services
    User can manage services to provide to customer
  • Manage staffs
    User can manage staff members
  • Manage payments
    User can manage payments made by a customer
  • Manage availability
    User can manage availability calendar for each staff
  • Manage settings
    User can manage the system settings

Below are the steps to assign a role to a user:

  1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard
  2. Click Users on the left menu. Click Add New button.
  3. Fill in the user info. In Role option, select AppointFox Staff or AppointFox Administrator
  4. Click Add New User button to save the user info.
  5. User can now able to login using their username and password.
